When I speak of Bharat, I am not referring to the modern nation‑state of India. My use of the word points to a much older, broader civilizational world that once connected the entire South Asian region. In ancient texts, Bharatvarsha described a cultural sphere that included the Indus region (today’s Pakistan), Bengal (today’s Bangladesh), Sri Lanka, Nepal, and even extended through Gandhara into parts of Afghanistan and Southeast Asia. This was never a political project and never about dominance. It was a shared heritage of languages, philosophies, spiritual traditions, and cultural exchange. For me, Bharat represents a sense of belonging that transcends borders — a peaceful kinship among the peoples of Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India, and beyond. My intention is not to elevate one nation over another, but to honor the ancient interconnected world that shaped the region long before modern boundaries existed.

When you are a young 20 year old handsome guy, smartly dressed in a silver striped suit and smashing tie, you just have started to go into the world and dive into "cold water", you find yourself in a new foreign country, all is strange and you are lonely while watching sexy girls around you everywhere, but you are not allowed (Embassy policy) to get close or touch - uhhh !
Then just before it is time to leave Israel, you want to book a tour to Ein Gedi as a fare-well present, you take a wrong turn and enter the wrong office- and there she is - so breathtaking in a short blue dress and a great figure - omg ! She speaks German, her mother fled Germany in 1938 ... but you didnt think anything further concentrated on leaving in 2 weeks for home and the new assignment in Strassburg ... You have no Idea that this encounter will change your life forever !
